It is preferable if the customer or someone appointed by the customer is present to accept the delivery. We are able to deliver if you are not present and in that case, the driver will determine the most appropriate positioning for your order. With unattended deliveries, RHF Turf Growers cannot accept any liability for theft, product deterioration or consequences arising from the positioning of your delivery.
RHF Turf Growers do not accept responsibility for damage caused to customer's property during delivery.
RHF Turf Growers reserve the right to cancel any order.
RHF Turf Growers will make every effort to deliver the order on the arranged date, but if, for whatever reason, the delivery is delayed, RHF Turf Growers will not accept any responsibility for the delay or any damage related to the delay. We do not recommend you organise any third party suppliers (eg. landscapers) based on delivery dates.
The customer must bear in mind that turf is a perishable product and should be laid and watered on the day of delivery.
In the unlikely event that the customer is not happy in any way with a product supplied, it is important to inform us of the problem immediately by telephone and email and before accepting delivery.If the company, or its agent cannot gain access to the delivery address then additional costs may be incurred or the order may be cancelled. Deliveries are made using large vehicles, typically 18/26 tonne wagons, and it is the responsibility of the customer to inform the company if there may be an access problem. In such cases that delivery, in our opinion, is not possible, then we reserve the right to cancel the order. The company must be informed of any possible access problems before the goods have been dispatched. If a delivery fails because we have not been made aware of potential delivery restrictions, incorrect address details have been given or if nobody is present and there is nowhere safe to leave the goods, the turf will deteriorate. As such, no refund will be issued.
RHF Turf Growers products become the responsibility of the customer from the moment of delivery or collection and as such we will not be responsible for any damage of deterioration after this time.
As we are supplying living products, we are unable to offer guarantees. We do not accept returns, give refunds or provide a replacement service. We will however, do our utmost to resolve any issues you may have.
Please be aware that turf is a natural product. We cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this website exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves. Natural variations in colour may occur. All sizes quoted are approximate.
Turf is a perishable product that requires immediate attention. You fully understand that turf must be properly laid on prepared ground, with adequate watering within 6 hours of delivery, especially during dry conditions. We will not accept responsibility for deterioration of the turf due to weather conditions.
Complaints regarding quality concerns must be made in writing within 24 hours of collection or delivery. If dissatisfied with the product, you can return unused non-perishable goods within 14 working days after the complaint is logged. A refund will be issued for the original purchase price, minus any applicable return charges. Turf, however, cannot be returned due to its perishable nature. Our turf products are a blend of various grasses. The presence of non-desirable grasses is not grounds for a refund or replacement.
All turf becomes the customer's responsibility from the time of collection or delivery. After this point, the company is not liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration of the turf, regardless of the cause.
Leatherjackets can be found in the turf at certain times of the year. While traditional pesticides used to treat them are no longer available, these insects will mature and fly away. The presence of leatherjackets in the turf is not valid grounds for a refund or product replacement.
